Stephanie L. Pinson, President of Gilbert Tweed International, has been with the firm since 1981 and is a member of the Board of Directors. She has in-depth experience as a search consultant to the highly complex insurance industry, where she specializes in change management. She has also done significant work with consumer goods and merchandising companies as well as the instrumentation and medical device industries, bringing with her a thorough background in sales, marketing, R&D, engineering and concurrent manufacturing processes.
Her work with high technology and manufacturing companies is global in nature, and she directs our India-based offices in New Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai.
Stephanie is the Director of GTA’s Transit and Transportation practice and Government Services practice, having consulted to large and small authorities, aviation and other transportation providers and their global suppliers, as well as to the Departments of the Interior and Transportation. In all cases, she has created unique solutions to complex senior staffing problems within all functional areas.
Before joining GTA, she was Director of Corporate Relocation Services for a leading Colorado realty firm. While there, she was responsible for developing a range of financial, real estate and personal services to assist transferred executives and their families move around the world. At GTA, she frequently consults on relocation issues.
Active in industry and community affairs, Stephanie represents GTA at the American Public Transportation Association (APTA), where she served as vice chair-business members and is a past-chair of the Business Member Board of Governors. She was named APTA’s ”Outstanding Business Member” and continues her activities in a variety of Board and Committee assignments for APTA. She serves on the Board of Directors of Digital Recorders, Incorporated and is past-president of the New Jersey Chapter of the International Association of Corporate and Professional Recruiters. She is a frequent speaker on change management and leadership development.
Stephanie is a graduate of Douglass College and qualified for her Ph.D. at Rutgers University where she taught English Literature for several years. Depending on the season, she can be found hiking, mountain climbing, skiing, golfing or playing a very competitive game of tennis.
